The main sources of waste gas in this project are the waste gas from production workshop, tank area and sewage station. The main technological process is as follows: a large number of VOCs exhaust gas generated in the workshop production process is first transported to the alkali wash tower outside the workshop through the internal pipeline for preliminary alkali wash, then the exhaust gas is dehumidified by the fan outside the workshop through the main pipe through the flame arrester and mist eliminator, and then the exhaust gas is blown to the RTO main equipment for high temperature oxidation treatment, and then the exhaust gas is subjected to the alkali wash cycle system. Alkali wash is carried out and then discharged through the chimney.
 
Before entering RTO main equipment, by-pass valves are installed, and three eccentric butterfly valves are used to connect activated carbon adsorption devices by-pass. When RTO is in normal operation, the bypass valve is closed. When RTO fails or the exhaust gas concentration exceeds the explosion limit and cannot enter RTO, the valve entering RTO closes, the bypass valve opens, and the exhaust gas is temporarily treated by activated carbon adsorption device, so as to reduce environmental pollution and prevent explosion hazard.
 
The project uses the latest fourth generation RTO - single cylinder multi-valve RTO, which is very stable in operation. The functions of each chamber are switched smoothly, which has little influence on the air flow and flame, and the combustion is stable. In addition, the high air volume and no dead angle sweeping make the regenerator almost free of waste gas residue, and the waste gas treatment rate is as high as 99.5%. Compared with rotary RTO, it has no dynamic seal, can avoid gas leakage to the greatest extent, and has higher heat recovery efficiency. Compared with ordinary box RTO, it saves 40% of the area and 10% of the gas consumption. Later maintenance is simple, and maintenance and management costs are low. As a whole, the investment cost is small.
